CBC SUPpORTS THE WORK OF EPM (ETERNAL PURPOSE MINISTRIES)
The mission of Eternal Purpose Ministries (EPM) is to help believers understand, embrace & devote their lives to God's timeless vision for the church and the family. EPM is a certified non-profit ministry, that operates in partnership with Redemption Church Christchurch. The ministry is overseen and directed by Kris Baines (founding pastor of Redemption Church, now serving as pastor-elder at Community Bible Church, Wellsford) with the assistance of his wife Becky and their older children.
Through Christ, God has called every believer to be part of His eternal purpose - which ultimately is for Christ’s name to be magnified in all the earth (Ephesians 3:1-11). We are living in a time in which there is much confusion, and much compromise in regards to the purpose and the function of the church, and the purpose and function of the family. EPM's desire, by God's grace, is to uphold God's vision for church and family, based upon the authority of God's Word. Working in partnership with the local church, EPM provides biblical teaching, one-on-one and small group discipleship, counselling, conferences (such as the ENGAGE conference in NZ), and the production of resources in various media formats. EPM's particular emphasis, is helping believers when they just don't know where to start with such things as leading family devotions, effectively sharing the gospel with unbelievers, and practically applying God's Word to all areas of our lives. |
